YOUNG SESSIONS
NEW Winter Youth Programme starting on Friday 7th September
UNDER 8s – AllStars sessions are aimed at providing children Under 8 with a great first experience in cricket. It is a FUN and ACTIVE way to develop your child’s skills, and through the sessions they will learn lots – as well as make new friends – in a safe and inclusive environment. The sessions deliver game-based activities that teach basic cricket skills including catching, throwing and hitting moving balls and social skills such as teamwork and communication.
OVER 8s – These sessions are aimed at delivering the next entry level in cricket coaching both in technical, batting, bowling, fielding and match play cricket.
Both girls and boys are welcome. Our coaches are ECB trained, DBS certified and First Aid trained.

Under 8s – 4pm – 5pm
Over 8s 5pm – 6pm

Clothing – As it is winter training, we have the opportunity to be both inside and out in the basketball court (Outdoor Flood Lights). Please therefore bring a jumper or coat as we may be outside even if the weather is dry. Please continue to bring a water bottle to sessions.
Parents are welcome to sit in the upstairs gallery whilst the session is on. We hope to set up a refreshment station with hot drinks etc for the parents and we would like to hear from anyone who would be happy to help run it.
The club is run by a number of volunteers. We welcome offers of help from all members, and hope that as you feel part of the club you may be able to get involved.
We look forward to seeing you in September and hope you have a good summer break.
To register for the winter sessions – please email debzstewart@yahoo.co.uk so we have an idea of the register on the first session. Any new players more than welcome, please pass on the clubs contact details or bring them along!
Thank you – Debs, Josh & the Youth Team.
